Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of RatingRabbit. By using the Service you agree to them. This document is provided as a template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using RatingRabbit (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

RatingRabbit lets you create groups, record matches, and track player ratings across multiple rating systems. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use bots, scripts, or automated means to create accounts or groups, or to access the Service in bulk;
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to other groups, accounts, or our systems;
  • upload unlawful, abusive, harassing, or infringing content;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

Group creation may require manual approval to prevent abuse. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create (player names, matches, messages, and group data). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and your group members. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter any personal data about other people, such as player names.

6. Intellectual property and proprietary algorithms

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws.

The rating algorithms are proprietary. Reverse engineering, scraping, or commercial reproduction is prohibited.

You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the rating formulas or their parameters, nor reproduce them in any competing product.

7. Beta and availability

The Service is currently offered free of charge during a beta period. Paid plans are planned for a future release. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change during beta.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
